The 2nd international Conference on sustainability and planning of cities organized by center of Urban and Regional planning , and took place in Baghdad on 16-17 of Dec 2020 at the Baghdad university . the conference is committed to promoting dialogue to support the futurity research and deliver a forum for discussion of the latest findings of new approaches on sustainability and its implements in the fields of urban and regional planning and related sciences.
The conference provides an international platform for academics, researchers , planners, engineers and postgraduate students to share their findings with experts and gather the scientific research efforts on sustainability of cities and planning to investing the efforts of scientific researches and sustainable planning to preserve cities and their resources for future generations.

Editorial Preface
This proceeding contains number of selected manuscripts submitted to the conference from researchers, Postgraduate students who study planning and sustainability, Academic Associations, Training institutes, State institutions and ministries, National and International Institutions concerned with planning and sustainability. We received (118) abstract submissions from local, regional and international universities.
Our scientific Committee members worked hard to make sure that all submissions where checked and reviewed before the deadline. A strict peer review by two to three referees, chosen according to their scientific specialization. The number of accepted papers is (34) selected according to the quality and conference topics. All accepted papers will be published in this edition of PSPC revised and approved by the scientific committee.
PSPC 2020 covers very important areas and mixed topics of sustainability and planning; we expected that our conference does not only demonstrate the contributors an overview of the modern research results on related fields but promote a significant platform for academic exchange.
